We follow your surgeon’s protocol

Your plan starts with your operative report

Send us your operative report and any restrictions. Your therapist builds the plan around them and sends your surgeon a progress summary at discharge.

Frequently asked questions

Only when your surgeon clears you to fly. For joint replacements this is often [2–6] weeks after surgery; we confirm once we see your operative report.
Your surgeon decides. Ask them about blood-clot prevention for the flight, and tell us any precautions they give you.
Your therapist watches for warning signs every day. We have a written plan for referral to [hospital or private clinic] and will contact your family and surgeon.
Only once your incision has fully healed and your surgeon and therapist agree. Many patients start with pool walking first.
